Pasta Pomodoro Fundraiser

Mark your calendar! Wednesday, October 28th - Pasta Pomodoro Night to Benefit Girl Scouts! All Pasta Pomodoro locations in the Bay Area, click here to download flyer with details and locations. Print and bring the flyer with you to present to your server. Pasta Pomodoro will donate proceeds from the evening back to Girl Scouts of Northern California.

Salutations Bridging Juniors! It is almost time to sign up for the best party in town for bridging Juniors – that’s right, Golden Gate Bridging! Please remember that every year the registration for this event fills at an earlier date, so please register early if you are already planning to join us. Last year, GGB 2009 sold out in less than 4 weeks. This is one party you do not want to miss! We hope to see you in the Presidio on Saturday, May 8, 2010!

There are Girl Scout troops for all ages and interests, from kindergarten through high school! Find a troop and join now by contacting our Martinez membership coordinator or our Pleasant Hill/Concord membership coordinator today! They will help you find a troop nearby.

TROOP TRIPS AND ACTIVITIES

If you are taking a trip with your troop, from a local picnic in the park, to an international adventure, send permission slips and trip approval forms to Barbara Jean. Current guidelines for trips may be found on the trips web page, or with the Trip and High-Risk Activity Notification and Approval Form Approval Form.

THE RESOURCE LIBRARY IS MORE THAN BOOKS!

A listing of the contents of our service unit resource library is now available on the Resource Library web page. You will find much more than books: games, props for ceremonies (including ponds, a bridge, candle logs), camping supplies (dutch ovens, tents, propane stoves!), and of course lots of resource books for troops and leaders. Check out the web page and give the Resource Librarian a call to arrange to borrow something. It's a great way to Use Resources Wisely.

Don't get caught with a pile of receipts at the end of the year. Track your troop finances throughout the year with a custom Excel spreadsheet and be ready when financial reports are due in June!
